Responsibilities

• Conduct blood draws and specimen collection from pediatric to geriatric patients.
• Label, centrifuge, split, freeze, and package specimens accurately.
• Ensure specimen quality during transport and storage.
• Match requisition forms with specimens and verify test orders.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients and answer inquiries.
• Maintain laboratory safety and compliance standards.
• Attend departmental training sessions and record maintenance data.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid Phlebotomy certification as required by state.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience in venipuncture in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
