Action Environmental hiring Welder in Mobile, AL
JOB SUMMARY:
This position will assist fleet mechanics with truck and equipment repairs by performing necessary welding repairs in order to keep fleet in top condition.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains service logs and records of maintenance on vehicles and motorized equipment
- Keeps tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized and in good working condition
- Perform welding repairs on trailer and MC-307, DOT-407, and DOT-412 tanks
- Perform fabrication duties
- Additional duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Mig and Stick welding experience required
- Experience in fabrication
- Previous fleet shop experience preferred
- Post-secondary vocational education strongly preferred
- Driver’s license required, Class A CDL preferred
