About the Role

We are hiring a Quality Technician for one of our prime clients, an industry-leading player in North America. This role is critical in ensuring high-quality products by collecting samples, performing tests, and analyzing materials at various stages of production. If you’re detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and ready to contribute to a team that values precision, this is an exciting opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect samples and perform quality control testing on raw materials, materials in process, finished products, and competitive products. Provide timely verbal or written test results to management and production staff.
  • Examine laboratory and core samples to determine physical and chemical properties using a variety of instruments and calculations.
  • Record, analyze, certify, and summarize laboratory findings. Maintain accurate records in databases.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving customer or production issues as required.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to less experienced team members on complex assignments.
  • Communicate operational problems, deviations from standards, and potential violations of policy or law.
  • Demonstrate commitment to health, safety, and environmental policies, promoting a culture of safety across the workplace.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High School Diploma/GED required; Associate or Technical Degree in Chemistry or other science-related field preferred
  • Strong math skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general data entry
  • Commitment to following safety protocols and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
