Job Description

The Housekeeping – Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms and public areas in the hotel. The Room Attendant will be responsible for the following duties:

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms according to hotel standards
• Change linens, make beds, and restock guest room amenities
• Vacuum, dust, and mop guest rooms and public areas
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department
• Assist with laundry and other housekeeping duties as needed
• Provide excellent customer service to guests

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
