Job Summary
The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and guest satisfaction. This role plays a key part in creating a welcoming and pleasant environment for all guests.
Key Responsibilities
Working Conditions:
- Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards, including:
- Making beds and changing linens
- Dusting furniture and fixtures
- Vacuuming carpets and mopping floors
- Cleaning bathrooms and replenishing amenities
- Replace used towels and other bathroom items.
- Replenish guest supplies such as drinking glasses, stationery, and minibar items.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost and found items to the supervisor.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and properly stored after each shift.
- Maintain cleanliness in corridors, service areas, and housekeeping carts.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist guests with requests or direct them to appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to company policies, uniform standards, and grooming guidelines.
- Shifts may include weekends and holidays.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and varying temperatures.
- Requires physical effort such as standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
