Cindavi hiring Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Mobile Metropolitan Area

We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve manufacturing processes at our Mobile, Alabama production facility. This role focuses on optimizing efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed manufacturing work instructions.
• Analyze workflow, workforce utilization, and production processes to improve efficiency.
• Design equipment layouts and workspace configurations for optimal production flow.
• Collaborate with purchasing, planning, and engineering teams to ensure efficient manufacturing methods.
• Specify and evaluate manufacturing equipment, materials, tooling, and gaging.
• Support troubleshooting of production equipment with maintenance teams.
• Train shop floor personnel on manufacturing processes and best practices.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Develop or modify CNC programs to support production needs.
• Apply statistical methods and quality standards to evaluate and improve manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 4 years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in metal cutting/programming environments.
• Strong background in CNC programming, G-code, metal cutting, grinding, and honing processes.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software, AutoCAD, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of GD&T, SPC principles, PPAP processes, and shop floor gaging methods preferred.
