Dovetail hiring Salesforce Developer (Contract, U.S.-Based) Job in United States

We’re seeking a Salesforce Developer to support an active implementation. You’ll work as part of a focused delivery team, alongside a hands-on technical architect, to write clean, maintainable code, implement and extend integrations, and build out Experience Cloud sites.

Responsibilities:

• Refactor and extend Apex classes, triggers, and LWC components
• Building and maintaining integrations
• Assist with Experience Cloud site buildouts, including user access flows and page logic
• Collaborate with functional admin and architect to deliver weekly progress

Requirements:

• 2+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with a strong foundation in Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), and core web technologies.
• Knowledge of version control (Git), clean code principles, and basic software architecture patterns
• Comfortable writing modular, reusable components and debugging complex front-end issues
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, handling auth flows, and managing data between Salesforce and external systems
• Able to work independently and make sound technical decisions in a partially completed, high-complexity implementation

Hours: 10-20 hours/week

Location: U.S. only (remote)

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $45.00 – $65.00 per hour
