Hi, I’m Rob Egan, founder of Elevation Music Academy, an online music academy dedicated to providing fun, engaging, and structured music lessons. I’m a Berklee College of Music graduate and an Army Band veteran, and I’ve been teaching music for over 30 years, including 5,000+ hours of online instruction. At Elevation Music Academy, we inspire kids to love playing piano while building confidence and musical skills.

We are looking for a passionate and engaging Piano Instructor to join our team on Outschool! We offer a flexible schedule with 15-30 hours per week available across EST, CT, PST, and European time zones.

Who We’re Looking For:

✅ Degree in music is preferred but not required—applicants with relevant teaching or performance experience are encouraged to apply

✅ Experience teaching ages 5-18

✅ Background in music education, piano, or performance

✅ Comfortable using Zoom and digital tools for online lessons

✅ Fun, energetic, and student-focused teaching style

✅ Loves working with kids and making lessons interactive and exciting

✅ Open to teaching beginner and intermediate piano students

✅ Able to pass a background check

Technical Requirements:

Reliable high-speed internet

Basic audio skills (sound setup for online teaching)

Experience teaching on Zoom (training provided if needed)

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to students’ skill levels and learning styles.
• Teach piano techniques and music theory to students of all ages, fostering a love for music.
• Manage classroom dynamics to create a positive and productive learning environment.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to enhance students’ musical abilities.
• Collaborate with parents to track student progress and address any concerns.
• Continuously assess and adapt curriculum to meet the evolving needs of students.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 30 per week

Work Location: Remote
