Energy Control Insulation hiring Insulation Technician in Mobile, AL

We are seeking a skilled Insulator to join our team. The ideal candidate will need a drivers license and must be able to drive a box truck. Pay based on effort and experience with insulation installation, and the ability to work effectively on various job sites. full time position. Must be able to stay on occasional out of town jobs. previous experience recommended but not required. The Insulator must be trainable will be responsible for applying different insulation materials to buildings and other structures, ensuring energy efficiency and comfort for occupants. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Install/spray insulation materials in walls, ceilings, floors, and attics, metal buildings, load a hopper, scrub walls, mixing glue, poly prep…
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and fit insulation materials.
• Apply caulking and sealants as needed to ensure proper insulation coverage.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure timely project completion.
• Conduct quality checks on installed insulation to meet safety and performance standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Experience recommended but not mandatory, will train
• 35-40 hours a week, occasional weekends. Must be able to stay on occasional out of town jobs
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in insulation installation.
• Experience with airless paint spraying is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
