Electrical Reliability Engineer – Hot Strip Mill

We’re seeking an Electrical Reliability Engineer to provide engineering and reliability support within a highly automated Hot Strip Mill environment.

What You’ll Need

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline

5+ years of engineering experience

Experience with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM)

Strong equipment data analysis and troubleshooting skills

Experience with Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Cause Mapping, or Kaizen

Ability to develop maintenance plans, analyze equipment performance, and identify solutions to recurring failures

Strong technical writing and communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Preferred Experience

Predictive Maintenance (PdM) certifications/experience: vibration, thermography, oil analysis, tribology, or motor circuit analysis

SAP

Power BI

AutoCAD or SolidWorks

Industrial/manufacturing reliability experience

What You’ll Do

Support maintenance and reliability initiatives

Lead root cause analysis for equipment failures and breakdowns

Identify solutions to reduce downtime and recurring failures

Analyze equipment and maintenance data

Develop and improve equipment maintenance plans

Track and trend maintenance performance

Review technical drawings and documentation

Partner with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams

Drive continuous improvement and safe work practices

Schedule: Monday–Friday, days, with extended hours as needed.
