GeBBS Healthcare Solutions is currently seeking a remote, credentialed Medical Coding QA Specialist with a minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in addition to formal training. This is a virtual/work-from-home position with a flexible schedule, reviewing approximately 20 charts per month—averaging 5–10 hours monthly or minimal hours per week.

Requirements:
Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring adherence to Client Contracts, including Statements of Work (SOWs) and Coding Guidelines
- Manages coding guidelines, working with Aviacode and the Client to ensure appropriate guidelines are set and implemented
- Responsible for Client Key Performance Indicators, monitoring monthly targets
- Analyzes daily, monthly and periodic reports on account volumes, productivity, turnaround times, and quality measures for senior management staff and the Client
- Ensure that QA percentages are within acceptable ranges
- Ensures Coder compliance with Industry, Aviacode and Client guidelines
- Ensures Staff and Coder adherence to Aviacode processes, policies and procedures.
- Other coding related duties as assigned
- Implement a coding quality program based on client specific coding guidelines
- Partner with the clients compliance department
Qualifications
- HCS-D or HCS-O required, RHIA, RHIT, or CCS in addition preferred
- Minimum five years Home Health Coding expeirence, at least 1-2 years performing Home Health QA
- Ability to analyze data and present findings in an organized manner on a routine basis
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of all patient and/or employee information to assure patient and/or employee rights are protected
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Understanding of OASIS Coding Guidelines and Standards
- Proficient in utilizing technology (computer, VPN, MS Excel, coding software) to perform responsibilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must have ICD-10 coding experience
- This position requires a Federal background check along with a drug screen (Cannabis has been removed from the panel)
- This position is a virtual/work from home position for about 20 charts per month.
