Lead Operations at a Premier Membership-Based RV Resort

Ocean Canyon Resorts is a network of membership-based RV resorts focused on delivering exceptional outdoor experiences to our members. We’re seeking a results-driven Resort Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of one of our resort locations.

In this role, you will lead a multi-department team, ensure high standards across the property, and create a welcoming, well-maintained environment for our members and guests—all while aligning with company objectives and regional goals.

What You’ll Do

• Report directly to the Director of Resort Operations
• Oversee all operations for a single resort location within the Ocean Canyon portfolio
• Manage and support department teams, including:
• Housekeeping
• Security
• Maintenance
• Store/Retail
• Activities
• Hire, train, coach, and evaluate team members to drive performance and engagement
• Ensure employees have the tools, training, and feedback needed to succeed
• Maintain resort standards by:
• Resolving member concerns and complaints
• Enforcing occupancy guidelines
• Inspecting units and coordinating repairs
• Planning property improvements and renovations
• Coordinating landscaping and snow removal
• Identify opportunities to improve operations, efficiency, and member satisfaction
• Respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven leadership and team management abilities
• Experience in a customer service-focused environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and flexible hours
• Basic computer skills
• Valid Michigan Driver’s License
• Strong communication skills with the ability to delegate and lead effectively
• Ability to remain calm and make decisions in high-pressure situations

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in property management, hospitality, or resort operations
