Responsibilities
- The role supports the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding. Responsibilities include assisting with new hire orientation by notifying relevant parties, guiding employees through HRIS login, and verifying documentation. For onboarding, the role involves preparing offer letters, coordinating background checks, ensuring completion of I-9/E-Verify, and assisting payroll with benefits enrollment. During offboarding, duties include conducting exit interviews, managing termination paperwork, and updating the HRIS system accordingly.
- The role also promotes employee engagement by responding to HR-related inquiries, organizing birthday and anniversary recognitions, coordinating the employee newsletter, and supporting quarterly social events. HR record-keeping duties involve maintaining both digital and physical files, generating reports, and tracking key metrics like attendance and disciplinary actions.
- This position supports health, safety, and workforce development efforts by participating in initiatives, scheduling training, and maintaining certification records. Additionally, the role assists with performance management by scheduling reviews, uploading evaluations, and forwarding documentation to payroll.
- Other responsibilities may include general office support tasks such as arranging travel, managing catering, and ordering supplies. The role also involves participating in community and recruitment events, representing the company at local job fairs and business meetings.
