Role: Skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist responsible for specimen collection, handling, and processing to support laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform blood draws and specimen collections with care, ensuring patient comfort and sample accuracy.
Collect, label, and store specimens following established protocols.
Handle specimens through centrifuging, freezing, and packaging for transport.
Verify test requisitions with computer labels to ensure accuracy.
Explain procedures to patients and assist with specimen collection (blood, urine, fecal).
Maintain a clean, safe work environment, adhering to OSHA and DEP safety regulations.
Update and manage patient information accurately.
Assist with troubleshooting, workflow improvements, and staff training.
Respond to patient inquiries and provide laboratory results as needed.
Participate in departmental training to stay current with best practices.
