By sourcing and matching highly qualified geopolitical analysts with businesses, we ensure that companies have access to the latest insights, analyses, and solutions to navigate complex geopolitical landscapes and achieve their goals.

About the Role:

We seek a Risk Consultant to join our client’s research team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in geopolitical risk assessment and be fluent in English. Some notable responsibilities include:

Monitoring and analysing geopolitical developments, sanctions, and international policies to assess potential risks, with a focus on the United States, the European Union, and the Indo-Pacific region.

  • Producing timely risk alerts and warnings for clients, helping them anticipate and mitigate potential threats.
  • Conducting in-depth assessments related to official funds or projects, international regulatory frameworks, and policy changes.
  • Developing conflict resolution strategies for organisations operating in politically unstable regions.
  • Writing clear and insightful reports that summarise key findings and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Presenting key findings to clients and stakeholders, ensuring they understand the implications of emerging risks.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of global political and economic trends that may impact businesses.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in geopolitical risk analysis, particularly in relation to current affairs, acquired through work at an official department or academic institute (such as a university, research institute, or think tank).
  • At least two years of professional experience in the United States within this sector.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex geopolitical issues into clear insights.
  • Hands-on experience and up-to-date knowledge of sanctions compliance or international trade regulations.
  • A well-established professional network that provides insight into a wide range of topics and industries.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex topics clearly and concisely.
  • Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Creativity, curiosity, and integrity, combined with initiative and a drive for continuous improvement.
  • A client-focused mindset, with the ability to deliver tailored solutions.
  • A commitment to seeing projects through to completion.
  • Confidence in sharing opinions and proposing innovative solutions.

What We Offer:

  • A flexible work structure, allowing incumbent staff to take on part-time consulting projects with full privacy protection.
  • A dynamic, innovative work environment that fosters growth and development, keeping you at the forefront of academic knowledge.
  • Rapid career progression opportunities for proactive employees.
  • Remote work flexibility, competitive salaries, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.
  • The option to receive immediate payment upon completing the first task, rather than waiting for weekly or monthly payouts.
