Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Fiber Optics Installer to join our growing team. This role involves the installation, termination, and testing of fiber optic cables for both indoor and outdoor environments. No prior experience is required—just a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a desire to build a career in telecommunications.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of fiber optic cables in commercial and residential buildings, including underground and aerial routes.
• Perform cable pulling, splicing, connectorization, and testing under supervision.
• Terminate and test fiber optic cables using OTDRs, power meters, and light sources.
• Support the installation of conduits, racks, patch panels, and network hardware.
• Read and interpret network blueprints, construction drawings, and job site layouts.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work environment.
• Follow safety protocols and comply with industry standards.
• Work with a team to meet project deadlines and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of hand tools and power tools.
• Interest in telecommunications, fiber optics, or network infrastructure.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment.
• Comfortable working in varied environments (indoor, outdoor, confined spaces, elevated spaces).
• Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred (but Not Required)

• Familiarity with fiber optic tools and testing equipment.
• Technical certifications (e.g., FOA CFOT, OSHA 10) are a plus.
• Experience with cable pulling or construction work.
