The Role
As a Server at Le Moyne’s, you are the conductor of the dining room, orchestrating seamless service between our culinary team and our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- The Experience: Provide warm, professional greetings and guide guests through our menu with expert knowledge of specialties and wine pairings.
- Tableside Craft: Masterfully present menu choices, take accurate orders, and perform tableside wine service with elegance.
- Precision Service: Manage guest checks, secure payments via POS (Micros/Aloha), and maintain a pristine dining environment through diligent side-work.
- Collaboration: Build positive relationships with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure every dish and drink arrives perfectly.
Who You Are
- Experienced: At least 1 year of serving experience (fine dining/upscale background preferred).
- Knowledgeable: Strong foundational knowledge of wine, spirits, and proper food handling.
- Certified: Must be at least 19 years of age with a valid Mobile County Health Department Beverage/Food Handler’s certification.
- Detail-Oriented: A polite, engaging personality with a commitment to “dazzling and delighting” every guest.
- Resilient: Comfortable standing/walking for an 8-hour shift, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working a flexible schedule of afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
