What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor our quality team across multiple shifts, acting as the primary representative for the Quality department.
• Investigate complex metallurgical issues, including safety of flight concerns, and communicate findings directly with regulatory bodies like the FAA.
• Own and validate our training and certification processes, ensuring our team meets the highest standards for NDT inspections.
• Serve as our technical expert for heat treatment processes, both on-site and with our external suppliers.
• Perform hands-on metallurgical analysis, including tensile testing and microscopic grain evaluation of aluminum and steel alloys.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Material Science, Metallurgy, or Metallurgical Engineering.
• At least five years of proven management experience leading people in a quality-oriented manufacturing environment.
