Fit Recruiting is partnering with a respected organization in the Mobile, Alabama area to identify an experienced Leave Specialist to join its Human Resources team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with expertise in leave administration who enjoys helping employees navigate complex leave and accommodation processes while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Administer FMLA, ADA, and other employee leave programs
• Manage the leave process from initial request through return to work
• Partner with employees and managers on leave-related matters
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation
• Assist with leave policy updates and accommodations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
• 5+ years of HR experience, including leave administration, preferred
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and related regulations
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• SHRM certification and UKG experience are a plus
