SafeRacks hiring Independent Contractor – Part-Time Installer Job in Mobile, AL

SafeRacks is a Veteran-owned manufacturer of high-quality overhead garage storage racks.

Location: Mobile,AL

Job Type: Part-time, independent contractor (1-2 days/week).

Pay: $70 per rack installed, paid per job via Stripe.

Description: Install overhead storage racks and wall shelves for residential customers. Work independently, using your own tools and vehicle.

Required Tools:

• Reliable truck or van
• Ladder (suitable for 12ft+ ceilings)
• Standard tools (hammer, screwdrivers, etc.)
• Cordless drill/driver
• Stud sensor
• Smartphone, tablet, or laptop (iOS/Android) for company field software
• General liability insurance

Required Skills:

• Positive attitude with references
• Clean driving record (will be verified)
• Handyman/trade experience preferred but not required
• Ability to use Google Calendar and mobile internet
• Customer service and communication skills
• Forklift experience a plus

• Solo work; teams/companies need not apply.
