- Assist with monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory levels
- Track incoming and outgoing inventory; investigate discrepancies
- Create, update, and process purchase orders
- Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and delivery status
- Maintain inventory and purchasing records in spreadsheets and internal systems
- Generate inventory, purchasing, and usage reports using Microsoft Excel
- Support physical inventory counts and audits
- Coordinate with warehouse, operations, and accounting teams
- Ensure documentation is complete and compliant with company policies
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, purchasing, or administrative support
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic understanding of purchasing and inventory management processes
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with inventory or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, NetSuite)
- Intermediate Excel skills (formulas, sorting, filtering, pivot tables a plus)
- Prior experience in manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse environments
