Responsibilities

  • Manages phones and communication
  • Responds to overhead pages
  • Abides by all compliance requirements
  • Maintains clean, neat and efficient work area
  • Manages patients’ insurance, POCs, Authorizations, preregistration and registration
  • Properly verifies patient identification
  • Maintains patient medical records
  • Maintains patient schedules
  • Manages supplies, work orders, and linen
  • Manages, prioritize, distributes inpatient orders for all disciplines
  • Maintains department in a state of readiness
  • Performs additional duties assigned by manager/director
  • Completes all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements
  • Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards
  • Regular and prompt attendance
  • Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required
  • Related duties as assigned

Additional Information

Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Office 365 MediumProficiency in Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Office 365 Medium
