Job Description
A motivated Licensed Civil Professional Engineer (PE) is sought to join a growing team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of civil engineering projects including infrastructure, land development, and transportation improvements.
The selected candidate will collaborate with a team of experienced engineers on project design, permitting, and construction support while contributing technical expertise and leadership throughout project development.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform civil engineering design and analysis for projects such as roadways, drainage systems, utilities, and site development.
- Prepare engineering drawings, reports, specifications, and calculations.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software for project design and documentation.
- Conduct site visits, field reviews, and inspections to support project development and construction.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Assist with project planning, feasibility studies, and cost estimates.
- Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and engineering standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineering staff.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
- 3-8+ years of civil engineering experience preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design software.
- Experience with site development, drainage design, or transportation projects preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
